FENG SHUI-ING YOUR GARDEN

P1010038 300x225 FENG SHUI ING YOUR GARDENFeng Shui gardens are easy and fun to create or re-create, it takes a little time and love. Below are few helpful hints that can make all the difference to a home or office.

Our gardens are a very important part of our home, whether they are a few pots on a terrace or several acres doesn’t much matter. These gardens, set up the energy of our home. When the gardens are alive, vibrant and balanced we can expect that to flow into our home and life, when they are stagnant, ignored and uncared for, we can expect more of that in our life.

Okay, so why is this so, why does the outside impact the inside so intensely? Well energy flows from the outside
into the home or office, these flows are affected but rarely stopped by walls. Now lets look at what we can do to
Feng Shui our gardens.

We can:
1/ Make sure that there is an easy flow around the garden. Clear up clutter or places where ‘stuff is piled or stored.’
2/ Get rid of anything you absolutely don’t need, clutter slows and clogs the Feng Shui pathways.
3/ A garden is like a classic painting we need balance and harmony, so draw it out on paper and see where things are and how you might balance them more fully. Take a sheet of paper and just do a jotting down of the most prominent things in your garden. Now look at it and ask, is there a clear flow?’ If not work to establish a clear flow.
4/ You can and should have areas that are full of vibrant life. Areas where things are not disturbed often. This give a high energy to the garden. Even if it is a wild pot of roses.
5/ Look at your life and ask which areas of my life are not working so well and add the colors and elements of these to the garden. e.g for money add purple or blue in the right corner, for love add pink, red or something that you really love to the right back corner.
6/ In areas that have a stagnant feel add a bird feeder or bath, (make sure that they don’t become cat feeders, keep them high and out of the way).
7/ Use plants as paint on a palette. Buy plants you love and walk around the garden with them in your hand until you find a spot that feel just right for this new friend.
8/ Place crystals you love around the garden or in pot to lift and balance the garden.

Gardens are gifts for us and everyone who sees them. Take time to sit in them and appreciate them, appreciation above all else gives them the highest energy. The energy of the universe runs through our gardens, when it is running easily and freely we feel comforted and relaxed when it is mixed up or stuck we feel uneasy and anxious. Feng Shui-ing your garden can make or break a good home Feng Shui and it only takes a little time here and there to make your garden sing.

Feng Shui/Geomancy

Yesterday I met with a wonderful real estate woman about Feng Shui. I had been to her house a few days earlier to work with her to change the energy in her home. We walked about making small changes, adding things and taking things away. Her house is delightful and beautifull decorated, so she didn’t want too many changes, so we focused on small changes. Sitting in the comfy seats at the Four Seasons having iced tea, she excitedly told me about the things in her life that have changed since our work together. A new bank deal and a series of other small and large openings. It is still amazing to me after all of this time and all of these Feng Shui’s how things can change when energy in the home is moved. Especailly when people are ready and willing to make shifts within themselves and sometimes even when they aren’t.

Another client recieved a check for 10.000 outof nowhere after making adjustments and changes. I love how this works.

LOVE

Love is the space between everything……………..we don’t feel it always because we get caught in our thoughts which are here to help us to transform. The space beteen our thoughts is love also…so catch these precious moments …..recognize the space between everything and feel the love throughout the body…………..this is who we are…….all of the rest is us tuning our unconsciousness…………….to love.

WALKING

P1050148 300x225 WALKINGDon’t you love walking? We do it everyday, and it is such a balancer. Studies reveal that when we walk and swing our arms we balance our brains….they found that it can ease depression too. Today I took my poles and swung up the canyon . On the one side a creek frothed and bubbled below and on the right a small hill with potatoe bush flowers and bushes with tiny white blosoms all over them. …….sooooo beautiful……it always brings me home to a deep state of wellbeing………try it  sometime..the swinging I mean….I often park aways across a lot and my husband and daughter always have fun wondering how far away I’m going to park….but it gives me a little more time to do the walk and swing……….have a swinging day…….

SUN AFTER RAIN

Isn’t it great when sun comes after rain. The rain is so beautiful washing us clear and clean…then the sun comes to awaken and show us how to glow …….how to remember this glow within……..that is who we are. Lets sit in the sun today and feel the sun on us and then feel it reflected within. An aboriginal elder said to me……’when we were samll before we saw white people, we were never cold in the winter……even though we didn’t have clothes. The glow within us warmed us, it was like an inner sun.’ Today lets feel that inner sun…put the corners of the mouth up and say.’I am who I am and that’s enough’……..and let thte glow flow through everypart of the body and out into forever………..see you tomorrow

GETTING INTO THE RIGHT BRAIN

February 8th 2010 · Read More · No Comments

Goodmorning. Today I had left brain business to do…….thank everything that I have one…………left brains work things out, put things together and rationalize. The left brain is the one that thinks, worries puts everything in place and has all of our problems. The right brain has no problems, it’s just here ready to dance, sing, create and love………small children are very right brained……

When we are in balance with our brains, we are joyous, creative, meditative, yet able to function effectively in our daily world. All too often we are lost in the right brain beta waves of business, worry and anxiety. To find the balance, try going into nature, hug a pet, sing, doodle on a note pad, dance………anything that relaxes and stills the chattering mind.

Look deeply into this photo and it can help you come to right brain too……..P1010110 300x225 GETTING INTO THE RIGHT BRAIN

CALENDULAS

The yellow calendulas are shining through the garden like little suns they glow everywhere. Flowers and plants have such a balancing energy that whenever we feel out of balance we can go to them..just being with them can help us to find our natural balance.

I remember walking in New York through the rushed shoppers and feeling very out of balance. My eyes noticed a little flowering dandelion growing in a crack in the pavement. Smiling I connected with it and and thanked it for being there in my mind. A peacefulness came over me and me balance returned. When we sit, stand, dance, walk or anything else in nature we are helped to find our innermost core of wellbeing.

Sing with the flowers, dance with the frogs and feel life!

Grouchiness

February 2nd 2010 · Read More · No Comments

Today I found myself grouchy with my husband over some computer issue. How often we feel it is them, and we blame them. ……rather than us giving us a chance to transform something. A perfect teacher. Our loved ones are so often the best teachers for us…..pushing and pulling our butons…….it helps us to pull out energy that we haven’t transformed so that it can see light of day, transform and become light and conscious. What a gift, although at the time it doesn’t feel like that.

I was wondering today how to put photos on this blog……..our family memeber Woodchuck is a beautiful small black cat with bright yellow eyes. He is sitting with me trying to type. He’s probably better than me…..but no one can understand his language .or only a few can understand it. He sits here serenely watching me typing. Rubbing his furry face across my hand everyso often. I remember what he is showing me………I can also be like him…….stop feel my feet..breathe and feel the natural serenity within…………..ahhhhh.

Dogs help us to heal

January 30th 2010 · Read More · No Comments

Sage is a large fluffy white dog who lives with us. She loves her walks up the canyon which are hard for her old legs and gett shorter each month and she loves her hugs. Each morning before starting my day, I lay with her, hug and stroke her and sing to her. Often she begins to smile and many times she drops into a place which we find in deep mediation. Her energy is a gateway to the oneness as is in animals who have been loved. In this place of oneness we can heal ourselves and her arthritic legs are helped too.

Spell dog backwards and we have God. They are doorways to the God within…..what a gift to have them share our lives.
